The first video I chose I found on the Miami Short Film Festival website this the festivals 9th year and it is held in November. The video I used from this website is a Spanish film titled Fisico da Spiaggia and directed by Edoardo de Angelis, Roma. This film seems almost like you are watching a commercial and you just keep waiting for the product to pop up but it never does. There is no dialogue in the film just music to help the film flow. I think the film works great with no dialogue because the music kind of works as the dialogue in the film. This film keeps you interested from beginning to end because you don't really know what is going on with the two characters until the end of the film it has a surprise ending that really makes you think how shallow people in the around the world are.
The second video I came across was on Studentfilms.com it was made by director Jeremy White from Emory University the film is titled Committed. In the first scene I really liked the transition the used to show both characters getting ready in the morning with opening and closing of the bathroom mirror. This film starts off slow but as the film progress you learn more about the two characters and their horribly funny marriage. This film is about a married couple who cheats and kills to stay together. The husband cheats and the wife finds out and kills the woman he has an affair messed up I know! My favorite line in the film is when the wife is killing the woman with her husband’s bowling bowl and says "Strike Bitch". The funny thing about the film is they both know it is going on but don't want to get a divorce because then they would have to separate the china funny!!Ha-ha!! The film did not use any music it let the words and action help with the understanding of the film. I really enjoyed this funny film because it was a different kind of comedy than I am used to seeing.

Digital Stories 2
The next Digital story I picked was The Mountain by Amy Johns because I felt like I could relate to her story because I also love the outdoors. I really liked how she told her story because at first you think it is going to be a wonderful story of her growing up and playing in the Mountains, but then you learn how money and greed can take over and ruin the what you love. This story hits a lot of issues that the world is facing to day with our energy crisis and I think Amy does a great job explaining how we as humans can destroy the earth to make some money. I like how Amy tells the story she tells of how the mountain changes as she grows up and how her niece will not get to enjoy the mountain like she did. This helps get her point across that the mining company's are not only ruining it for Amy but for generations of outdoor loving people.
Digital Stories
I stumbled across a great digital story titled Listening for my Great Grandfather by Kyle Bajakian in this story Kyle the narrator talks about his Great Grandfather stories of being an adventurer and author in the rough Canadian terrain. In this story Kyle uses vivid words, music, and pictures to help describe what his Great Grandfather was like as a person. He tells of how his Great Grandfather died of a insect bite and how his Great Grandfathers life was changed by a bear attack. Even though its a short digital story Kyle gives you enough information to know what kind of person his Great Grandfather is. The pictures also help tell the story as well because you see a picture of snakes, bears, moose, mountains rapids and other adventurous things. The picture that Kyle chooses to use tell the audience that his Great Grandfather liked to take risk and was a real adventurer. I really enjoyed this digital story I just wish I could hear more stories about his Great Grandfather's crazy embellished stories.

SEC! SEC! SEC!
The SEC football podcast is a radio show online that I am new to. It is a radio show that talks about everything going on in SEC football but that is stating the obvious. The radio show host Pat Danielson or "Pat D" and the show usually airs twice a month depending on what Pat D has on his mind. From the podcast that I have listened to of Pat D's it seems that he does know a good bit of information about SEC football. What I liked about Pat D's show was that it focused just on SEC football instead of other football leagues or other sports. I like that because I don't want to hear what the JETS are doing because I don't live in New York so I don't care!! And it is also refreshing to listen to something else besides all the sports trash on local radio. I am glad I stumbled upon this podcast because if i were not in this class I would have never found it and I will defiantly keep listening to Pat D's podcast.
Audio stories
The Weekly Live Stash is an hour long radio show on Sirius . The live stash comes on every Friday at 6:00pm and is hosted by Brad Sterling from nugs.net the show is also replayed on Sunday at 12:00pm. This radio show consist of music that is considered jam music so the show focuses on some of my favorite bands such as Phish, Widespread Panic, Disco Biscuits, Umphery's Maghee, Moe. and other bands in the jam band scene. During the show Brad Sterling will pick live music played anywhere from the last week to the beginning of last year. I really enjoy Brad Sterling's show because he gives great information about the songs that he is playing and why he chose the that particular song from that concert. Also some of the information he gives is different than most information you get about a song because he will also let you know how the crowd was and what the atmosphere was like while the song he chose was being played. Another thing I like about the weekly live stash is it is cool when Sterling pics a song from a show that you were at because it is almost like going back into time.
